1. What is this matter about?
Certain former foreign subsidiaries of Yukos Oil Company (the “Yukos Group”) have been liquidating assets and pursuing various legal claims with the ultimate goal of making a series of cash distributions to former shareholders of Yukos Oil Company. As each of the remaining Yukos Group assets is liquidated over time, a portion of the proceeds therefrom, as determined by the Yukos Group, will be deposited into a fund (the “Distribution Fund”), and will be distributed to former Yukos shareholders on a rolling basis. The initial distribution was made from funds held in the structure controlled by Stichting Administratiekantoor Financial Performance Holdings, the ownership of which is no longer in dispute as a result of the settlement with Rosneft Oil Company.
2. Who received Claim Packets?
Claim Packets were mailed to former Yukos shareholders identified by the Yukos Group as possibly having purchased, acquired or held Yukos Ordinary Shares or Yukos ADRs from July 2, 2003 through and including November 28, 2007 (the “Recovery Period”).
3. How do I know if I am eligible to participate in the Distribution Fund?
You are potentially eligible to receive a distribution if you purchased, acquired or held Yukos Ordinary Shares or Yukos ADRs during the Recovery Period, regardless of where you live or where those shares were purchased.
4. What types of securities are eligible?
Yukos Ordinary Shares and Yukos American Depositary Receipts (“ADRs”) are the two types of securities eligible in this administration. The identification numbers for these securities are listed below.

5. What are Yukos Ordinary Shares?
Yukos Ordinary Shares are shares issued by Yukos that were formerly traded on the Russian and European stock markets.
6. What is an American Depositary Receipt or ADR?
ADR stands for American Depositary Receipt, which is a negotiable certificate issued by a U.S. bank representing a specified number of shares in a foreign stock that is traded on a U.S. exchange.
ADRs are denominated in U.S. dollars, with the underlying security held by a U.S. financial institution overseas.
7. What is the amount of the Distribution Fund?
The Yukos Group has been liquidating assets and pursuing various legal claims with the ultimate goal of making a series of cash distributions to former shareholders of Yukos Oil Company. The net proceeds of the liquidation, less any reserves for expenses, will be deposited into the Distribution Fund. The initial distribution will be made on a rolling basis from funds held in the structure controlled by Stichting Administratiekantoor Financial Performance Holdings, the ownership of which is no longer in dispute as a result of the settlement with Rosneft Oil Company. The Distribution Fund consists of at least $337 million.
8. How do I participate in the Distribution Fund?
The deadline for submitting claims passed on May 30, 2016. After a grace period for late claims of more than seven months, new claim filings are no longer being accepted.
9. Will I be notified if my claim is deficient?
Deficiency notices were sent to all claimants who submitted deficient claims. The deadline for receipt of all responses was 45 days after the date on the notice. The deadline for responding to deficiency notices has passed and responses are no longer being accepted.
10. What are the “Target Countries”?
The Target Countries are: (a) France, (b) Germany, (c) the Netherlands, (d) Russia, (e) Sweden, (f) Switzerland, (g) the United Kingdom and (h) the United States.
11. How much will I be paid?
A Plan of Allocation is included in the Notice and describes how the Distribution Fund will be allocated. You can obtain a copy of the Notice by clicking here.
12. I received an email asking to choose a payment method; how will I be paid?
Email notice regarding the payment method will be emailed on March 16, 2026, so be sure to check your spam folder. If you did not provide a valid email address, the Determination Notice was mailed to you at the address on file.
Eligible claimants residing in Target Countries should thoroughly review the payment method email and respond with the payment method that they wish to receive the funds in the current trench. Payment methods are as follows: Wire Payment, Check Payment and Household Checks. The deadline for submitting all required payment information is now March 31, 2026.
Distributions to eligible claimants residing in Russia will be wired in Rubles after proper banking information is received. Eligible claimants residing in Russia who do not provide complete and accurate banking information will not be eligible for payment.
Eligible claimants residing in a Target Country (other than Russia) may elect to receive payment by electronic fund transfer (“EFT”) or by U.S. Dollar check. Eligible claimants requesting payment by EFT will be paid in their country’s official currency at the prevailing market rate at the time of payment. Eligible claimants who do not elect a payment method, or who provide incorrect or incomplete banking information, will receive their payment by check in U.S. Dollars.
Distributions to eligible claimants not residing in a Target Country will be paid by check in U.S. Dollars. If you do not reside in a Target Country, you do not need to log onto the website portal in order to be paid.
13. When will I receive my payment?
The Distribution Agent will distribute the funds in several tranches, as outlined below. The initial distribution took place in August 2017. The second distribution occurred in March 2018. Third distribution was initiated in April 2019.
14. What happens if I did not file a claim?
If you did not file a claim, you will not be eligible to receive a payment from the Distribution Fund.
